HOWRAGHAT, March 13 � There was massive jubilation among the Congress workers today at Howraghat Rajiv Bhawan after the party ticket was declared in favour of Assam State HAD Minister Kharsing Engti.
A close family member of HAD Minister Engti revealed that Engti was very tense since yesterday over the matter of party ticket declaration.
On being nominated, Minister Engti thanked the Congress high command, Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Bhubaneswar Kalita and Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi for giving him the party ticket.
On the other hand, speaking on development on his constituency, he reiterated that he is committed and he will give more importance to solving the social issues of the district if the Congress party returns to power.
