GUWAHATI, Oct 26 - The 22nd edition of the Junior National Sepak Takraw Championship got underway at the Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium in the RG Baruah Sports Complex here today.
AK Sinha Casshyap, ADGP; Queen Ojha, vice president of the Sports Authority of Assam; Rajib Prakash Baruah, vice president of the State sepak takraw body, among others were present in the opening ceremony as guests.
Altogether 25 states are taking part in the championship in both boys and girls categories.
