GUWAHATI, Aug 3 - The Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture, Guwahati, is offering a few Junior Fellowships to do empirical studies in the areas of �Culture and Development of Northeast India�.
Selected applicants will have to work under the supervision of assigned supervisors, get involved in academic activities of the institute and produce a publishable work. The duration of the fellowship is six months. Each fellowship carries an amount of Rs 15,000 per month, a VKIC press release stated.
Interested persons, preferably with postgraduate degree in the disciplines of Sociology, Anthropology, Geography, Cultural Studies, Economics, History, Education, Environmental Sciences, Botany and Plant Sciences may apply with a concept note (500 words) and curriculum vitae by August 15.
