JORHAT, April 6 � Dr Narayan Bardoloi, medical director of Chandraprabha Eye Hospital, Jorhat has left for Delhi to perform a live surgical demonstration of cataract surgery in Delhi.
The invitation was made by Delhi Opthalmological Society (DOS) as part of their annual conference. Dr Bardoloi has also been invited by Group of Eye Hospital for live surgery at Chennai on on May 27, 2012.
It is worth mentioning that Dr Bardoloi has demonstrated his surgical technique in similar live surgery sessions at Sisha Eye Hospital Kolkata (at Eastern India Ophthalmological Congress, 2010) and Shushrut Eye Hospital Kolkata (at Ophthalmic Society of West Bengal Conference in 2011).
In Delhi and Chennai Dr Bardoloi will perform Phacoemulsification surgery through 2.2 mm incision and without hydroprocedure.
