GUWAHATI, June 4 - Jorhat swimmers clinched the team title in the 27th All Assam Inter District Swimming Championship which concluded at the BP Chaliha Swimming Pool here last evening.
Jorhat scored 269 points while Kamrup stood second with 224 points.
Champions in different groups are: (Gr I) Tapan Bordoloi (Jorhat, boys) Shivangi Kashyap (Team Assam, girls). (Gr II) Bhargav Phukan (Team Assam, boys), Astha Bordoloi (Jorhat, girls). (Gr III, jointly) Md Rehan Mirza, Sanjib Kr Das (both Kamrup), Nirupam Boro (Jorhat, boys), Lovlin Das, Jahnabi Kashyap (both Kamrup). (Gr IV) Sanskar Kashyap (Jorhat, boys), Aristha Saikia (Jorhat, girls). (Gr V) Dhiman Kashyap (Kamrup, boys), Charlin Borgohain (Tezpur, girls).
