GUWAHATI, Dec 26 � Jolchabi, an Assamese play based on popular Assamese novel Jolchabi by novelist Anuradha Sharma Pujari will be staged at the Rabindra Bhawan here on December 29 and 30 at 4 pm and 7 pm respectively.
The cast of the play includes Manjula Barua, Kapil Bora, Barnali Puzari, Dr Jayanta Das and Garima Mazumdar, among others. While Tarali Sarma has sung the title song of the play, dance direction will be done by Anita Sarma.
The play is based on the story of an elderly lady suffering from dementia. Presented by socio-cultural organisation Yogasutra, Abinash Sarma is the playwright and director of the play, a press statement said.
