Joint Secretary visits city art gallery

GUWAHATI, June 25 � Pankaj Rag, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, visited the newly established Arundhati Art Gallery, located near the Rajgarh Road here, on Wednesday. He appreciated the ambience in and around the gallery premises and said that the setting up of the gallery was a positive development for the art scene of Assam. Rag, who was felicitated on the occasion by the owner of the gallery, Arundhati Choudhury, also promised to explore prospects of governmental help for upgradation of the gallery in the future, stated a press note received here today.
