DIBRUGARH, Feb 28 - Margherita Marine Club did not have to sweat it out on a bright sunny day here today to defeat Phoenix Club of Sivasagar by 18 runs in the ongoing prize money JKM Trophy Cricket Tournament, being played at the Dibrugarh Outdoor Stadium. Winning the toss, the Sivasagar team opted to field. The Margherita boys were 164 for nine at the end of the stipulated 35 overs. In reply, the Sivasagar team were bundled out for 146 runs in 32.5 overs.
Daniel Thapa walked away with the man of the match honour.
There will be no match on Monday while Cricket Club of Dibrugarh (Blue) will face Jorhat Cricket Coaching Centre on Tuesday.
