GUWAHATI, Dec 6 - Jigyashman Hazarika lifted the boys U-16 singles title defeating Manan Nath in a gruelling three setter 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 in the AATA-AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament for boys and girls U-16 years, which concluded at the All Assam Tennis Association (AATA) complex in Chachal here today. In the girls U-16 final, Kristi Boro won the title by defeating Tanishqa Patar in straight sets 6-3, 6-0.
In the prize distribution ceremony, AATA joint secretary Digantajyoti Gogoi distributed the trophies in the presence of secretary Ankush Dutta.
Results: (Boys final) Jigyashman Hazarika bt Manan Nath 3-6, 6-1, 6-4. (Girls final) Kristi Boro bt Tanishqa Patar 6-3, 6-0.
