GUWAHATI, April 23 - Jorhat Cricket Coaching Centre (JCCC) got the better of River Rine Cricket Coaching Centre by 28 runs in their match of the 7th Sitaram Agarwala Memorial Under-17 Inter School/Organisation Cricket Tournament at the Barsapara stadium here today.
Electing to bat, Jorhat boys put up a total of 207 runs before being all out in 45.2 overs. Md Kaif top scored with 69 runs while Denis Das bagged three wickets conceding 41 runs in his allotted 10 overs.
In reply, River Rine boys were bundled out for 179 runs in 32.4 overs. Jay Singh scored 83 runs while Rituraj Chakraborty was the pick of the bowlers with six wickets to his kitty which also earned him the man of the match honour.
