Jaraguri boys lift Baliram trophy

UDALGURI, Oct 8 - It was finally Jaraguri GBF Academy of Gossaingaon who lifted the trophy beating Navajyoti Club of Guwahati 3-0 in the final match of the 16th All India Baliram Boro Gold Cup football championship played today here at Harisinga Mini Stadium today.

The lone Nigerian striker Chenedo Ngngne of Jaraguri opened the account in 7th minute and Jagjit Singh added another in the 23rd. Sajid Khan added one more in the 61st minute.

The prize distribution ceremony was chaired by Tridip Daimari, speaker of the BTC assembly and chairman of the organising committee where Lwmshraw Daimary, executive member of BTC gave away the winners� trophy to the Jaraguri team. Chenedo Ngenge of Jaraguri GBF Academy was adjudged the best player of the championship.
