RANGIYA, Aug 31 - Sri Krishna Janmastami and 70th Maha Vishnu Yajna is being organised in an elaborate manner with different religious and cultural programmes at the public bus stop area here on September 2.
In this regard, the Utsav will start with hoisting of the religious insigne by the president of the celebration committee Mohan Madhab Barman followed by art competition for children, Maha Vishnu Yajna, Aayati Naam, Sri Krishna competition, community religious feast followed by Nagara Naam.
The SDPO of Rangiya Sumit Sarma, besides other dignitaries and invitees will attend the Utsav. President Mohan Madhab Barman and general secretaries Nayanjyoti Kalita and Dinesh Lahkar on behalf of the organising committee have solicited active participation and presence of all sections of the community on the occasion.
