Jaideep Saikias new book comes out

By The Assam Tribune

GUWAHATI, Sept 11 - Defence and Security Affairs expert Jaideep Saikia has come up with his 10th book dealing with the human brain getting attracted to radicalisation and the need for a critical study of religious fanaticism, stated a press release.

Mind over Matter tracks conversation about a variety of aspects that make up todays security matrix. Saikia says that even though the human brain is the most sophisticated creation in the world and that it can be trained as one wishes, the fact remains that human behaviour is disposed towards genetic makeup. It is in this context that the question of radicalisation (in Islam) acquires import and warrants examination in a neurological discourse that has religious fanaticism as a subject of study.

The book encompasses several subjects ranging from suicide bombings, McMahon Line, ULFA, radicalisation, Track II Dialogue, Chumbi Valley and Greater Nagalim.
