Jagmohan, Kripamay make a mark for Barpeta

BARPETA, May 25 - Krishnaguru Mahavidyalaya at Nasatra in Barpeta district saved the prestige of the district in the Arts stream of the Higher Secondary Final Examination-2019, the result of which was declared today.

Jagmohan Kalita of this college occupied the 5th position in this examination securing 470 marks. He receieved Letter marks in English (93), Assamese (97); Sociology (89); Logic and Philosophy (97) and Political Science (94).

Talking to mediapersons, Jagmohan said that social media can not be a hindrance to study if it is used in a constructive manner. About his future Jagmohan divulged that he will do his graduation from Cotton College and will join the Indian Administrative Service.

Another student of this college, Kripamay Das occupied the 10th position scoring 464 marks with letters. In English (84), Assamese (97), Education (97), Logic and Philosophy (97) and Sociology (89). Kripamay, whose favourite writer is Dr Hiren Gohain, will also strive for a berth in the IAS.

The Sewashram fraternity expressed satisfaction over the success of the brilliant students duo and celebrated the success with fanfare.
