JAGIROAD, Feb 28 � Jagiroad College emerged champions in the Third Prabin Kr Borthakur and Aswini Kr Gohain Memorial Jagiroad Inter Club Volleyball Tournament defeating Kakar Jalah Volleyball team 3-2 (25-15, 24-25, 19-25, 25-19 and 15-11) in the final played today at the Jagiroad Sports Association ground here.
Bijoy Boro of the winning team was declared as the best player in the final. Indus Academy School won the Fairplay trophy in the tournament. Dr BC Neog, Principal, Jagiroad College, Bani Borthakur and Manab Gohain gave away the trophies in the closing function. The tournament was organised by the Jagiroad Sports Association in where 10 teams took part.
