Jagannath Rathyatra at Hajo

GUWAHATI, June 21 - Hare Krishna Movement, Guwahati is celebrating the 5th annual Sri Jagannath Rathyatra at Hajo in association with Sri Hayagriva Madhav Mandir on June 26, a press release stated.

The rath carrying their lordships Sri Jagannath, Baladeb and Subhadra shall start at 12 noon from Panchgaon Manasa Mandir (Boragaon) (via Pakhamela) and culminate at Sri Hayagriva Madhav Mandir.

A grand cultural programme will be held at Sri Hayagriva Madhav Mandir and maha prasadam distribution for all present towards the end of the Rathyatra.

Janardhan Dasa, president of Hare Krishna Movement, Guwahati and Sri Shiva Prakash Sharma, the doloi of Sri Hayagriva Madhav Mandir have appealed to people irrespective of caste, creed and race to participate in this Sri festival.
