GUWAHATI, Oct 21 - Sh Jaspal Singh, DIG (Dibrugarh) won the open singles and veteran singles titles in the 11th Inter Sector Lawn Tennis Championship for ITBP officers which concluded at the LNIPE campus, Tepesia, near here today.
Sh Vishal Kumar Singh, Second-in-Command, North East Frontier remained runners up in open singles and Sh GS Chauhan, Commandant, 25th Bn in veteran singles.
Four teams of North East Frontier of ITBP competed in the two-day long event which was organised by the 33rd Bn ITBP, Guwahati. In the team event, Sector HQ Dibrugarh won the title while Sector HQ Tezpur became runners up. Dr B Basumatary, Dean, LNIPE gave away the prizes in the closing function.
