GUWAHATI, July 27 - The 33rd Bn ITBP organised a medical check-up and treatment camp and a veterinary camp under its civic action programme (CAP) for the villagers of Chamata Pathar, Sonapur Pathar and Kachutali Sonapur on July 25 and 26. A team of three doctors from 33rd Bn and medical staff extended their services to the villagers.
The team was led by Dr Lawrence Kindo, Senior Medical Officer. More than 202 villagers benefited from the medical camp at Chamata Pathar and 244 villagers were treated at Sonapur Pathar. The veterinary camp was led by Assistant Commandant Dr Manjur Uddin Ahmed. A total of 863 animals were treated at the camp at Chamata Pathar and 2,687 animals were treated at Kachutali Sonapur.
