ITANAGAR, May 28 � Normal life was hit in the Arunachal capital today by a dawn to dusk shutdown even as 18 bandh supporters were arrested.

Business establishments, educational institutions and Central Government offices were closed, while attendance in State Government offices was thin.

The All Arunachal Pradesh Youth Forum, All Nyishi Youth Council and others had called the bandh to protest the State Government�s alleged failure to cancel land allotment to a non-Arunachalee at Industrial Estate at Naharlagun. � PTI
