JALUKBARI, March 23 - State Information Technology Minister Keshab Mahanta today visited a special national facility of Stratospheric Tropospheric (ST) radar of the Gauhati University developed under the supervision of Prof Minakshi Devi of the Department of Physics, GU.
Mahanta went round the site built towards the southern hillside of GU, which is nearing completion with erection of 576 antenna arrays along with an equal number of trans-receiving modules and a laboratory.
The scientists, faculty and administrative members of GU, engineers from departments concerned of the Government of Assam hailed the Minister for his visit and constructive suggestions.
