GUWAHATI, Oct 25 - A wide range of products from countries like Egypt, Turkey, Thailand, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, South Africa, Italy and the Netherlands will be available for shoppers in the city when the 18th International Leo Expo 2018 begins tomorrow at the Maniram Dewan Trade Centre, a press release stated today.

The expo that will go on till November 12, will be open from 11 am till 9 pm daily. Various products from Indian companies will be available at discounted rates. Handicraft items made in Assam, including those made by self-help groups from the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) areas, will be available at the expo. Music and other entertainment programmes will be held in the evenings on an open stage built in the shape of the White House in the US.

There will be an art competition for students from class I to X and a cooking competition for participants above the age of 18 years. Those willing to take part have to register on or before November 6.
