GUWAHATI, Oct 10 - Professor and head of radiology at the Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute (BBCI) here Dr Binoy Kumar Choudhury was awarded the Certificate of Excellence during the International Cancer Imaging Society�s (ICIS) 18th annual teaching course held at Menton, France, on October 7-9.
Prof Choudhury is one of three radiologists from around the world selected for this year�s International Travel Grant by the ICIS. He had presented a research paper on uses of various techniques to minimise the risk of pneumothorax in image-guided thoracic biopsies.
He is the only Indian doctor who has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence by ICIS.
