RANGIYA, Jan 24 - Customers of the Rangiya Post Office here have been facing a plethora of problems due to link problems at the Rangiya post office for the past several months. Savings or recurring postal bank account holders, are not able to withdraw or deposit cash as the computerized online system does not work at most times.
Customers have to wait in queues for hours together to get their work done and sometimes have to return back due to non-availability of internet connectivity at the said post office. Even, the staff of the post office seems helpless as they have no other option except to sit idle all time due to the problem.
Speaking to this correspondent, most of the customers blamed the higher authorities of the Postal department for such an affair. It may be mentioned here that a private firm has been entrusted with the responsibility of providing internet services to every post office of the country, but the data packs or bandwidths being provided are very low, due to which link failure has become a common problem.
