DIPHU, Sept 25 - The International Day of Peace was celebrated jointly by the United Christian Forum (UFC), the Karbi Anglong Peace Forum (KAPF) and the Indo-Global Social Service Society (IGSSS) at Jirsong Asong here on Friday for spreading the message of peace and brotherhood in the region.
The celebration started with the lighting of lamp by prominent dignitaries. Traditional and modern dance items were performed by the Karbi, Rengma Naga and Dimasa artistes on the occasion.
