AIZAWL, July 11 - Mizoram Government on Monday constituted the interim council of Sinlung Hills.
A Home department notification said that the government �is pleased to constitute Sinlung Hills Council (SHC) for an interim period of six months with immediate effect.
Formation of SHC is the result of the peace accord signed between Mizoram Government and Hmar People�s Convention (Democratic) on April 2 this year.
The interim council will be headed by former HPC (D) spokesperson Lalthalien as Chief Executive Member, the notification said.
