GUWAHATI, Feb 29 � Jorhat recorded an innings and 111-run victory against Bongaigaon in their last super league match of the Plate Group Senior Inter District Cricket Tournament for Nuruddin Trophy.
On the final day of the two-day match at the Nehru Stadium here today, in reply to Bongaigaon�s first innings total of 140, Jorhat declared after scoring a massive 420 for six . In their second knock, Bongaigaon were bundled again for 169.
For Jorhat Ritesh Paul, who was yesterday unbeaten on 88, cracked 185 with eight sixes and 21 boundaries. Abhishek Kriahna was the other notable contributor with 77.
