JALUKBARI, June 10 - Basistha police rescued a three-year-old child near Beharbari this morning. The child identified himself to be from Silchar.
Police rescued the infant from the traffic point at Beharbari after the locals informed them that he was loitering in the area.
According to police sources, even though the child identified himself as Deep Sinha and to be from Silchar, he could not say which part of Silchar he was from. Later the police somehow contacted the infant�s parents and handed him over to them.
