AIZAWL, Oct 10 - Doordarshan is all set to organise an Indigenous Games Festival here during the first week of November, officials said.
The three-day fest will be held in Aizawl where YMA branches in the State capital would be taking part in seven disciplines of Mizo traditional games, Doordarshan sources said.
The Organising Committee has approved seven Mizo indigenous games for the event. Men�s events will include wrestling, tug of war, stick fighting and cock fighting, while, women�s events will feature games like Kawi bean games, carrying water with bamboo.
