About 150 strategic bridges are being constructed in Arunachal Pradesh to ensure mobility of Defence troops and supply of materials to the LAC.

The bridge is constructed by Navayuga Engineering Company which has also built the Dr Bhupen Hazarika Setu. The area located in Lower Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh is thinly populated. Before the bridges came up, people had to cross the Dibang river on country boat.
