Indian lifters win five bronze

NEW DELHI, Apr 14 (PTI): Indian women weightlifters won five bronze medals on the opening day of the Senior Asian Championships at Tongling City in China today.

48kg lifter Kh Sanjita Chanu won a bronze each in clean and jerk (90kg) and total lift (158kg).

In 53kg category, Matsa Santoshi bagged a bronze each in snatch (70kg), clean and jerk (88kg) and total lift (158kg).

Commonwealth Games gold medallist Katulu Ravi Kumar is competing in men's 69kg category while Chandreshori Devi is taking part in women's 58kg.
