HYDERABAD, Nov 13 (PTI) - Openers Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir put on a half-century stand after India bundled out New Zealand for 350 on the second day of the second Test here today.
Spin spearhead Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan shared six wickets between them to help India restrict the Kiwis to a manageable total after the visitors resumed at 258 for four.
Harbhajan accounted for four Kiwi batsmen today after going wicket-less on the opening day while Zaheer added two more to his two wickets on the first day.
India were comfortably placed at 62 for no loss at tea, with Sehwag and Gambhir unbeaten on 29 and 28 respectively at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
After reading the pitch in the first few overs, Sehwag started dominating the New Zealand bowlers with his attacking game.
