GUWAHATI, Jan 23 - The 21st India Club Open Anup Lahoty Memorial Tennis Championship got underway here today.
The championship was inaugurated by Renu Lahoty, wife of late Anup Lahoty in the presence of India Club president Abani Baruah, All Assam Tennis Association secretary Ankush Dutta, India Club secretary Biswadeep Bora, among others. The opening ceremony was hosted by Anshuman Das. Altogether 196 players are participating in seven junior and sub-junior categories. The veteran players have been asked to register by Thursday evening.
