NAGPUR, Nov 23 (IANS) - India defeated New Zealand by a innings and 198 runs on the fourth day of the third and the final cricket Test here and won the three-match series 1-0 here Tuesday. The first two Tests were drawn.
Resuming at overnight score of 24 for one, New Zealand were bowled out for 175 runs in the second innings shortly after the lunch break at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium at Jamtha. New Zealand made 193 runs in the first innings while India declared their first inings at 566 for eight.
