COLOMBO, Aug 7 (IANS) - India defeated Sri Lanka by five wickets in the third and the final cricket Test and levelled the three-match series 1-1 here Saturday at the P Sara Oval.
Set a victory target of 257, India made 258 for five in the second innings with VVS Laxman remaining unbeaten on 103. Sri Lanka made 425 in the first innings and 267 in their second. India were bowled out for 436 in their first innings.
