By The Assam Tribune

DHAKA, Aug 20 (IANS): India and Bangladesh Saturday signed strip maps in Dhaka to finalise their 4,156-km international border, a media report said Saturday.

The long-standing border-related discord between the two neighbouring countries has been settled through the signing of the maps, the Daily Star reported.

The map signing meeting was held at the Department of Land Records and Survey (DLRS) office in Dhaka that was attended by the high-level officials of both countries, the newspaper added.
