IIT-G�s Techniche concludes

GUWAHATI, Sept 4 � The third and concluding day of the 15th edition of the annual techno-management festival of IIT Guwahati � Techniche � filled the participants who came from over 180 different colleges in India with greater fun and knowledge.

Many events encompassing both technical ones and entertainment stuff took place on Wednesday. Among the events were �Prison Break� and �City Mayhem� and then there was the final round of the national robotic championship �Escalade.� It was followed by a lecture series by Pat Spain and eminent journalist Shekhar Gupta. Another interesting event was the industrial conclave, a confluence of technology and business strategies shared with IITians by renowned persons such as Sanjay Anandram and Anuja Choudary.

Blood donation camps were also conducted in the institute hospital where many volunteers took part. There were also workshops for the students in the fields like image processing, 3-D animation, etc.

The international school championship, Technothlon mains round, was conducted in the campus where over 200 school students from across the nation took part. The day ended with a performance by 3-D music visualization and �Flash Mob.� The prize distribution and the closing ceremony followed next.

The IITG Director, convener of Techniche-13, among others, attended the ceremony that marked three days of lectures and technical extravaganza.
