SHILLONG, April 6 � The IIM Shillong�s sixth annual Convocation will be held tomorrow at the Institute�s campus at Nongthymmai here. Ramakrishnan Mukundan, managing director of Tata Chemicals Ltd., will be the chief guest at the convocation, a press release said.
A pre-convocation ceremony was held today where more than 130 PGP (two year) students, including 31 graduates of PGPEx (Managing Business in India and China) one year executive programme, were expected to receive their diploma certificates. Launched by IIM Shillong in 2012, PGPEx is a unique one-year residential executive programme for working professionals. The programme provides exposure to students in the form of dual internship and four months of learning in China at Ocean University, Qingdao.
