IIFT entrance exam for MBA programme

GUWAHATI, Sept 6 - The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), one of the top business schools in the country, will conduct the entrance examination of its MBA (IB) programme, which is six trimester management programme with exclusive focus on international business, for the first time in computer-based (CB) mode on December 1, said a press release.

The examination will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Earlier, the exam was conducted in offline mode. IIFT's CBT entrance exam will be conducted for admission to its batch 2020-22 for its MBA (IB) programme in New Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada (AP) campuses.

The number of candidates applying for the programme has been increasing every year. This year, it is expected that around 75,000 candidates will apply for admissions to MBA (IB) 2020-22 programme through CBT.

The registration process for the examination will commence from September 9 and will last till October 25.

CBT will be conducted in 89 different cities of the country. Candidates will be given an option to select four cities in order of their preference and convenience. The admit cards for the exam may be downloaded from November 11 till December 1.
