GUWAHATI, July 17 - Id-Ul-Fitre, the biggest religious festival of Muslims, which also marks the end of the Ramzan fasting, will be celebrated in the State along with the rest of the country tomorrow.

The city will also be having its fair share of the celebrations, with the mosques and Idgah maidans decked up for the celebrations. The central function scheduled to be held at the Machkhowa Idgah maidan is attended by thousands of devout Muslims.

Various other Idgah maidans and mosques such as Athgaon Kabarstan, Islampur, Ambari, Chandmari, Lakhtokia, Kumarpara, Garigaon, Santipur, Panjabari, Latasil, etc., have also prepared elaborately for the occasion.

In the meantime, Governor PB Acharya has extended his warm greetings to the people of the State on the occasion of Id-Ul-Fitre.
