GUWAHATI, June 4 - Id-ul-Fitr, the festival of breaking the fast, would be celebrated by the people of Muslim community in the State along with the rest of the country tomorrow. The festival that marks the end of Ramzan month gives a message of universal brotherhood.
Governor Jagdish Mukhi and Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal have greeted the people on the occasion of Id-ul-Fitr and hoped that the festival would strengthen the age-old bond of harmony and communal amity.
State BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass, AGP president Atul Bora, AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal and State Congress chief Ripun Bora also greeted the people on the occasion.
