IAF choppers to shower petals on TRIHMS to salute corona warriors

ITANAGAR, May 2 - As part of the Indian Armed Forces� expression of appreciation to all �corona warriors� as announced by the Chief of Defence Staff, General Bipin Rawat, a helicopter flypast will be conducted over the TRIHMS Hospital at Naharlagun by the Eastern Air Command of the Indian Air Force on Sunday.

The flypast, including showering of flower petals on the TRIHMS, a designated COVID-19 hospital, is being organised to display gratitude to the corona warriors, including doctors, nurses, paramedics and other related staff who are fighting the pandemic to keep everyone safe. It also aims to send the message that the nation stands together and is unitedly fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile, Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig Dr BD Mishra (retd) has commended the gesture of the Indian Armed Forces and expressed the hope that the goodwill message would reach each and every corona warrior, the police personnel, administrators, gaon burhas and NGO representatives.
