GUWAHATI, Oct 12 - Members of AASU and 30 indigenous organisations today formed a human chain at the Guwahati Club rotary protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act and EIA-2020.
The protesters also demanded immediate implementation of the recommendations of the high level committee on �Clause Six� and adequate compensation and rehabilitation of the victims of Baghjan oil well blowout.
The All Assam Tribal League, All Assam Gorkha Students� Union, Hajong Students� Union among others participated in the protest programme held under the aegis of All Kamrup Metro District Students� Union.
