HSLC, AHM results in May first week

GUWAHATI, March 3 - The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA), will announce the results of this year�s HSLC and AHM examinations in the first week of May. Work is on at the 39 evaluation centres of the State to meet the deadline.

Last year, the exam results were announced on May 15.

�We are positive about announcing the results in the first week of May. The examinations were held smoothly with a number of measures taken by the Board to ensure proper security and discipline throughout the examination process. Similarly, a number of measures have been taken to ensure accurate and timely announcement of the results,� SEBA chairman RC Jain told The Assam Tribune.

Moreover, after the encouraging response to the Board�s psychometric examination, which was conducted for the first time for the candidates, the Board is planning to furnish the detailed analytical report of the candidates within a month.

A total of 44,460 students appeared for the Disha Career Guidance and Psychometric Test of the students who appeared for the HSLC/AHM exams. The tests were conducted with the help of academic councils in each district to give an analysis of aptitude and personality markers of the candidates and help the student choose the right stream and right career option as per their personality.

�The tests were held in 719 centres and despite being an optional exercise, it received a very encouraging response from the students and their guardians,� the SEBA chairman added.
