JALUKBARI, July 14 - Police are searching for a student who went missing from Sai Vikash Junior College at Ahomgaon in Gorchuk.
Gorchuk police station sources said the student � identified as Himalaya Brahma (18), a resident of Kokrajhar and a second-year student of HS (Science) � went missing on July 9 from the college premises. Before that, he was seen roaming on the streets and was picked up by a patrolling party from the police station.
A person, who identified himself as his uncle from Kokrajhar, took him from the police station. He attended his classes on July 11 but again went missing in the night of July 11 from the college hostel. The police sources said the student has a history of going missing and that his parents were aware of it. The school authorities intimated the student's parents on July 11, and also lodged a missing complaint on July 13.
