GUWAHATI, July 30 - Himachal Pradesh recorded a five-wicket victory against Assam in the Dr Capt K Thimmappiah Memorial Tournament Cricket Tournament match at the Alur 3 Ground, Bangalore today.
Requiring 98 for an outright victory on the final day of the four-day match, Himachal reached the target in 27.1 overs losing five second innings wickets.
Assam, following on, were all out for 228, resuming at the overnight total of 184 for four. K B Arun Karthick 59 and Tarjinder Singh 55 were the leading scorers for Assam.
