GUWAHATI, March 8 - Shine Sansaar, Guwahati, a mega affordable housing project under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), Housing for All-2022 (Urban) at Azara on the Rani Road near LGBI Airport, has bagged the �Most Well Planned Upcoming Project Award in EWS category� from the State of Assam.
The award was presented to the developer company � Shine Seven Developers � by Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, at the PMAY � Empowering India Awards 2019 in Delhi on March 5, a release said.
The project has been designed according to the guidelines of PMAY � Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme, which allows a buyer an interest subsidy of Rs 2.67 lakh on purchase of an apartment. The total built-up area of the project is 7.76 lakh sq ft, which is being developed on 18 bighas of land with 70 per cent open area and ample parking space and many other facilities. The project has 1,096 apartments, out of which 448 apartments are under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category and 648 apartments under the Lower Income Group (LIG) category.
