GUWAHATI, Nov 16 - Hosts Rudreswar Ajanta Club trounced North Eastern Zone FC GC CRPF Guwahati (9th Mile) 7-2 in the 6th Topcem Challenge Football Tournament at the Mini Stadium, North Guwahati today.
The opening goal was scored by Sonaram of the CRPF team in the 24th minute while Rameshwar Boro of the winning team netted two back to back goals in the 43rd and 45th minute respectively. Jugen Boro made it 3-1 in the 49th minute. After that the game became one-sided and Manjit Rabha (51st min), Wilson Deori (71st min), Abhinash Boro (77th, 86th min) netted the other four goals to make the score line 7-1. However, J Singh reduced the margin in the 87th minute.
