IMPHAL,Nov 8 - Host team Manipur emerged champion in the 65th U-14 National School Games (boys) football which concluded at the Khuman Lampak main stadium in Imphal yesterday.
In the final, Manipur beat Jharkhand in a tie break (4-3). Earlier, in the semifinals, Manipur defeated Uttar Pradesh
4-1 while Jharkhand beat West Bengal 5-1.
The prizes and trophies were distributed by joint director, Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of Manipur, Kh Pramoda Devi attending the closing function as chief guest.
