JORABAT, Jan 27 - Sirumoni Doley, a young artist of Jorabat has been recognised by India Book of Record and World Record India for creating a record on October 23 by riding a motorcycle from Patarkuchi in Sonapur to Nellie in Morigaon district while preparing a painting using his nose as a painting brush and completed a picture of a rhino riding 26 km in 26 minutes.
Though he mainly made an attempt for the Guinness World Record, he has still not been recognised officially for this �first of its kind record� for some financial issue.
According to sources, an act successfully performed for a new record, is recognised as a new record by Guinness World Record only after payment of a prescribed fee for it.
Doley has also been honoured with the title �Nose Painting Artist� by World Record India.
