MANGALDAI, Sept 4 - Lengeriyajhar Krishak High School of Darrang is going to receive felicitation from the State government on the occasion of the Teacher�s Day celebration as the institution, along with nine other institutions of the State, has bagged cent per cent results in the HSLC or HSSLC examination consecutively for the last three years.

According to a letter from the Director of Secondary Education, Government of Assam to the Inspector Schools of Darrang, the Head Master and ten senior teachers of the institution along with the president of the School Management Development Committee (SMDC) have been invited to the central function of the Teacher�s Day organized at the international auditorium of the Kalakshetra, Guwahati where they will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs one lakh each along with felicitation.

Nine other high performing institutions of the State which have been selected for this award are � Lengeri HS School, Dibrugarh; Sissipathsala HS School, Dhubri; Bordoloni HS School, Dhemaji; Pallarpar Madrassa High School, Barpeta; Narengkhati High School, Sonitpur; Guwahati Refinery High School, Noonmati; Hindi English High School, Tinsukia; Girish Vidyapith (SPL) High School, Baksa and Paschim Chamata High School, Nalbari.
